Struggling siblings are in need, yet they help others instead

We are having an AMAZING year with our Youth Market campaign, because of stories like this one. Brother and sister Alex and Anastasia, students at AJ Wittenberg School in Greenville, SC, wanted to give back to the AHA because of a family member with heart disease. They set up a table at a local park, gave out information about heart disease and asked the public for donations toward their Jump Rope For Heart campaign. They raised $1,004 for the AHA!  What makes this story of their selflessness even more powerful? Alex and Anastasia have been living in the Greenville Rescue Mission for the last five months with their mom. Watch their incredible story here.
