South Carolina to require students to learn CPR

SCCPRLAWpassWe’re excited to share some big wins for the Mid-Atlantic Affiliate this month! Last Thursday, South Carolina advocates and staff celebrated as Governor Nikki Haley signed legislation requiring CPR training as part of the high school health education curriculum, making South Carolina the 30th state to do so. The law will be known as Ronald Rouse’s Law, named for the Hartsville High School football player that died on the field during a football game in 2012.
